1958 NFL Championship
The 1958 National Football League Championship Game was played on December 28, 1958 at Yankee Stadium in New York City. It was the first ever National Football League playoff game to go into sudden death overtime. The game has since become widely known as "The Greatest Game Ever Played". The game marked the beginning of the NFL's popularity surge, and eventual rise to the top of the United States sports market...

BBC Television received in New York - November 1938 - Alexandra Palace Television Society
The four-minute compilation from 1938 exists only because of a technological fluke and the enthusiasm of two television buffs, one in Britain and the other in America where, thanks to freak atmospheric conditions, it was picked up and recorded on a cine camera placed in front of a television screen as the images came in. Andrew Emmerson, the British enthusiast, spent five years tracking down the recording and believes it is the only surviving example of pre-war live high-definition British telev...

The Garry Moore Show - Misc 1955 Episode
I thought I had already uploaded this, but I can't find it. I don't know if this is a complete episode or not, but here's 43 minutes of "The Garry Moore Show" from 1955, featuring original commercials for products like Lux dishwashing liquid, Franco-American canned foods, and Sta-Flo liquid starch. A delightful daytime series with comedy, music, and talk. Certainly much better than that sleeping-pill show hosted by that lipton-tea addict.

Fragment from ''Studio Party''
A fragment from an episode of "Studio Party", a local (in New York City) series from circa 1958 aimed at teenagers, hosted by Herb Sheldon. Broadcast on WABD (Channel 5). Note: If you intend to upload this to YouTube, I request that you make it clear to viewers that this is only a fragment and not a complete program. The original broadcast was probably 60 minutes. Segments in this fragment include teenagers dancing, and a interview with an athlete, along with two commercials and a promotional sp...

''I Remember Mama'' - Madame Zodiak
An episode of the "live TV" dramedy "Mama" (which is often referred "I Remember Mama") from 1950. What amazes me is that, we are in the 2010s, with this 1950s show, set in the 1910s! It's like going back in time twice!! In this episode, Aunt Jenny is told by a fortune teller that she'll soon get great wealth. With original commercials (please forgive dodgy tape-transfer, and slight cut-off at end).
